We’re delighted and super excited to welcome professional footballer, Jodie Taylor, to the Gym+Coffee team as a new MLR Ambassador. Jodie is an English striker who currently plays for San Diego Wave FC of NWSL in the United States. With 51 England caps under her belt as well as 19 goals, she has been performing at an elite level ever since her debut with Tranmere Rovers in 2002. At the 2017 European Championships, she led the scoring charts and won the golden boot after hitting the back of the net 5 times in a single tournament.

Through a career that has spanned 20 years, Jodie has played in the best leagues in the world with some of the biggest teams too such as Arsenal, Portland Thorns and most recently with Lyon where she won the UEFA Champions League. The G+C team is bursting with excitement to be teaming up with such a footballing legend who has garnered massive respect on and off the pitch for the values that she represents and the qualities that she possesses. As a highly experienced player with natural leadership qualities, it’s an honour to  support Jodie on her future exploits on and off the pitch.
