Community, craic, coffee, connection + culture in abundance (and free beanies)! To celebrate 5 years of G+C, we invited our whole community to come together for our annual hike up the Sugarloaf Mountain to mark the occasion and to pledge their goals for 2022. It felt SURREAL to share this special milestone alongside so many of you and we can’t wait for next year already.
Over 2,000 of you came out in force and it really felt like old times after 2 years of restrictions. Just to see people chatting, smiling and selfie-ing their way to the top of the Sugarloaf brought such a buzz! We’re so grateful for all the support we received on the day and also to the donations to the charity, Women’s Aid Ireland, to whom we dedicated our 5th birthday celebrations to. It was a clear reminder that we have the BEST community who are there for one another and all about living life to its fullest!
It’s been a pretty wild ride to get to 5 years in business but our ambition to continue to build our community worldwide and encourage people to socialise around exercise burns brighter than ever. In our very first blog post, we finished with the below affirmation about what we wanted Gym+Coffee to be about and we’re glad to see this mindset ring through up to this day.
